flash data integration:
From XML post of mine yesterday, same project The data is now showing up, but not the font (ie, I can copy it out of the box, but my text is invisible. When I tell it to include the font, then I lose the data. Any suggestions? http://priiva.net/perusich/ you can copy text from here, but not see it. http://priiva.net/perusich/flash-index-test.html this has the fonts included, and you can see nothing. TIA Jon Parkhurst PriivaWeb http://priiva.net
OK, text is actually being populated to both, but in second example (test) scrollbar is simply not working. Again, first doesn't have font included, and we get a scrollbar, second one includes the font, and no scrollbar. In both movies I am unable to see the text. jon [quoted text, click to view] "Jon Parkhurst" <crash@bcdcdigital.com> wrote in message news:dhed6h$iqo$1@forums.macromedia.com... > From XML post of mine yesterday, same project > > The data is now showing up, but not the font (ie, I can copy it out of the > box, but my text is invisible. got it fixed. it was either the font tags int he html text, or it was somethign wrong with my embedded font. jon [quoted text, click to view] > From XML post of mine yesterday, same project > > The data is now showing up, but not the font (ie, I can copy it out of the > box, but my text is invisible. or it was that I needed to embed the same font that was in the font tags. :O) ah, the simple things. was the bold tags in the text. HTML text does not allow bold tags, when b is also selected on the text. WHOA what a bitch.. and another correction on top of that. (thougth I'd posted this last week) When using dynamic boxes and htmlText, you must include a plain, bold, and italic box with the fonts embedded in order to show said fonts in the final document. Your main box should be plain, then add two blank, off screen boxes for bold and italic.
