flash data integration: can you put up a screenshot of the FLA?

I'm guessin you have Dynamic textbox setup. Is a scrollbar feasable?

Expandable dynamic text area? headonBackwards

Dear all experienced & less-experience,

Does anyone know why a Dynamic Text box/field/area is not expandable?

I have a dynamic text area that will contain text that is editable from a
content management system. I have just found that if the dynamic text box I
create is not long enough to fit all of the text in the external file it will
simply cut off the bottom!

So therefor, if the external file content is edited (presumably the hole point
of dynamic text?) then the text box will either be too large or too small!

Comments greatly appreciated in advance.

Are u talking about a self-made dynamic textField with a scrollbar, or the
predifined flash textArea component?
If first, then i guess textField.autoSize="left"; should solve your problem.
If second, i do not understand how on earth can be that the textArea
component partly cuts of text.

I have a scroll box component with a dynamic text movieclip in it that refers
to the dynamic text and an external text file.

I am totaly at a loss!

Can anyone tell me where the textField.autoSize="left"; should go?

I have tried it in the dynamic text movieclip with no results!

Appreciated.
