flash data integration:
Hi

I would like to build a html page that triggers various flash movies via
javaScript.

For example Id like to have two html checkboxes (checkbox1 and checkbox2) and
an embedded .swf (mainMovie.swf) which contained two movies (intenalMovie1_mc
and internalMovie2_mc). Id like to play/stop the internalMovie1_mc by
checking/unchecking checkbox1.

Is that possible to do with javascript. Do I need to download the JavaScript
and Flash Integration Kit?

When I do a google search there doesn't seem to be any clear documentation on
how to do this. Could this mean I may be going about the whole thing the wrong
way?

Thanx

This forum is more for database integration with Flash and you might be
better off looking for the answer in the Flash Actionscript forum.

As a start, it is possible, but the design question is why bother with HTML
to control Flash movies. Why not build it in Flash?
