flash data integration: Hi All,

I am quite new to flash and actionscripting. I have a question regarding an
offline application I am looking at building.

Here is the problem:
I will have a certain number of excel spreadsheets over the course of a month.
Each day a new spreadsheet is created. Each sheet will have exactly the same
fields but with different data that has been collected on that day.

Is there a way that the end user could then run a flash application (offline)
that would take all of the data from the excel spreadsheets throughout the
month and add them in to one (so that all of the data is in one spreadsheet)
basically to save them copying and pasting everything every month?

I wasnt sure whether flash had the ability to perform something like this.

Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

Flash cannot read Excel.

You can have Excel export to XML format and then have the Flash read that.

You may need VB scripting in Excel - not sure - to produce the XML. But first
look at the export menus to see what is possible.
