macromedia flash flash remoting : Webservice response size limitation

Tom,

Thanks for replying, I'm having issue with what I a believe to be a size limitation with a web service response.

I've written a application with Flash MX that uses Flash Remoting(.Net) for communication with a JRUN web service. The webservice returns formatted xml data based upon the request that it receives. The repsonse size of the returned xml varies from 1kb to 55kb+. I've noticed anything above 55kb or so is truncated. I seemed to have narrowed it down to flash remoting as the possible culprit but I'm not entirely sure. I've written a test .Net application that tests the same JRUN webservice and the response comes back without problem regardless of size. Any thoughts?

Two thoughts, both are just guesses:

1) Make sure you are running the newest (.79) version of Flash player 6, or version .14 of 7.

2) There was a service pack for remoting for the .net implementation. Make sure you have it installed.

Thanks for the reply, however
I have version 7.0 r14 and I've installed the service pack for flash remoting.
