I just about 5 days ago got an account with uvault.com.
I got the email on how to do to point my applications.
I did all, uploaded files via ftp aand then they wanted me to change a line in
a fla file,
open it in macromedia and select simple connect and then write in my rtmp
adress.
My problem was no matter witch flash program I downloaded ( i have macromedia
10) I couldn?t open the fla file to connect!
I then wrote them and asked for help, the sent me a new fla file that was now
prepaird for macromedia.
Still didn?t work.
Anyways my chat that I had uploaded (videochat) was working fine for 5
days...then in friday it was not working anymore!
So I contacted them again through theire helpdesk...and asked them what was
wrong...after som hours I got this answer:
Your account has been temporarily disabled. The server logs had numerous
errors
stating:
Connection rejected by server. Reason : [ Server.Reject ] : (_defaultRoot_,
lovestorm.uvault.com) : Invalid application name ()..
This constant error has disrupted the service of the server. We cannot restart
your account until you have corrected your application. If you require
assistance with your app coding, premium support is available.Your account has
been temporarily disabled. The server logs had numerous errors stating:

We have not done anything to this files, except uploaded them and pointed to

www.uvault.com/support/sample.zip and download
this file. Unzip the file using Win Zip of other Zip tool. Open the
sample.fla file in your Flash MX application. Click on the "simple
connect")
Please we really need your help in this matter since I don?t know so much about

please send your source files to production@uvision.net so that we can correct
them before use. something is not configured properly and is causing severe
issues on the server.
So I sent them the fla file and wrote them again:
I have now sent you the fla file!
I have downloaded another flashplayer and now I can see the sample file, but I
still cant connect...?
The files says simple connection to your vhost 2 seat limit, then under that
there are 2 boxes one with name then a button beside that with loggin then a
new box with a choice of dsl or modem and so on. Under that there is 2 big text
boxes wich has the writing over each one (open) in down in the end of the
textbox is says login and send audio/video...?
So what shall I do here?
I don?t understand why the chat isn?t working now it has been working since we
uploaded the files?
Further more we are an fully operational community, with a lot of members, and
we dont understand how you could shut us down a friday evening, when the net is
full of surfing people?
What is wrong now that wasn?t wrong after we uploaded the files?
And how long will it take now before it?s working so our members can enjoy the
chat again?
Could you bee so kind to ANSWER my questions abowe, before you send me about
the fla file????
Then I got this answer:
Your account was suspended. It was causing errors on the server.
This is a shared server and we can not have customers experiment with
applications that are not stable.
If your application makes the server unstable it affects other customers we
have.
Please read our hosting policy. If you want us to provide you with hosting
services you must comply with this policy.

Now I am really angry and write them again:
I have sent the fla file to production@uvison.net as I was told!
Now you want me to contact sales@uvault.com ?
So all I did before is a waste of time???
So why should I send the fla file from beginning, and write all this
questions, wihtout getting any answers to them,
why couldn?t you tell me this before.
I stand to loose a lot of money for you doing this and the time is ticking.
So if I contact sales this will start my account agin?
What about the fla file you want me to connect 2?
Will you do it from there?
And what about the fact that I paid for your hosting this month?
And how can you say that I have been experimenting, all I did was uploade the
files and then
I contacted you regarding the fla file, that I couldn?t connect!
And you still haven?t answer me correctly about what to do to connect the fla
file!
Please, Rapid answer so I know what to do from here!
Now they don?t answer me anymore, and it says they have support 24/7.
I have been waiting for something to happen since Friday, and my members pays
a fee to use our chat!
Imagine how much I stand to loose here!
I will reclaime my money and find my self another flashcom host!
