macromedia flash flash remoting:
[quoted text, click to view]

Did you purchase it? It sounds like you are using the 30-day trial version
which reverts to a developer edition after the 30 days is up. You can only
use it with localhost after 30 days.

Check if you have your development environment on a separate machine (I do) you may have a developer addition there. Be sure your Flash Gateway is not pointing to the Development machine.

Otherwise - Reinstall ColdFusionMX. If you are using Dreamweaver you can relink and reload all your CF objects at the server easily. (Be sure you have a Development Environment that is separate from your Production Environment).

If you need to reinstall, enter your serial number when installing and you should be ok. After that it is a Macromedia Customer Service issue.

Make sure that the frconfig.txt file is in the \bin directory on your gateway web service. Make sure that the serial is correct with the version you purchased.. if you have multiple gateways, this file should be in the \bin directory on each one.

alright, in that case, see http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash_remoting/installation.html.

If you have followed the instructions for the installation, that frconfig.txt should be added to your class path. (I think you have to do it manually, I am running .NET)..

After the installation finishes, use your Java application server?s WAR or EAR deployment utility to deploy Flash Remoting. The installation also creates the frconfig.txt file, which you use to add an additional IP address and change the Flash Remoting serial number. After you set your serial number and add the appropriate IP addresses, you must add this file into your Java application server?s class path. For the changes to take effect, you must restart your application server.
