macromedia flash flash remoting: I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post, but let me give a shot
anyways. I'm developing a quiz application, with Flash as the interface.
Database is likely to be Access. But I'm not able to decide on the middleware,
for I've never done such programming before. So, I'm expecting your
suggestions/advise.

how are you intending on presenting your quiz? will it be via a server
(using inter/intranet)? If so then I would through personal experience use
coldfusion as the server. This is an excellent middleman to allow
communication between your database and flash and is minimal in script. If no
server, then the only real options I (as a relatively new person to it all) am
aware of are xml or javascript (and thats a lot of script writing, hell yeh)....

thanks for ur reply. it helped make things more clear. it's intended to be an
intranet application - to be used by a couple of teams. and the budget
restrictions won't allow to opt for a server. so, does that leave only
xml/javascript as the options? as u say, i understand it means lot of
scripting! xml is greek to me :) let's see how it goes... any more
suggestions/advise r quite welcome.
