macromedia flash flash remoting: Just starting this stuff - everything looks good in TomCat dirs:
C:\Program
Files\jakarta-tomcat-5.0.19\webapps\flashgateway\WEB-INF\lib\flashgateway.jar
C:\Program Files\jakarta-tomcat-5.0.19\webapps\flashgateway\WEB-INF\web.xml
has FlashRemoting servlet mapped to /gateway
Following Tom Muck ... test the installation by browsing to:

http://localhost:8080/flashgateway/gateway = You should see a blank page

I get HTTP Status 404 - /flashgateway/gateway
The requested resource (/flashgateway/gateway) is not available.
TomCat working fine. WinXp. j2sdk1.4.2_04. Shouldn't need to install j2ee
sdk-1_4 or should I? TIA. Mic.

The test for a blank page isn't 100% reliable... despite this, have you
tried to call a java class from remoting?
