I have big trouble with my provider.
They offer ColdfusionMX but becouse no client ever of them has used flash
remoting functionality they don't know what the gateway of them is. How can
they, or me check what the gateway adress is?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi,

Check http://www.yourdomainname.com:8500/flashservices/gateway

If that shows a blank page and not a 404 or other error, good chances that you have Flash Remoting gateway setup.

The gateway is installed by default when CF is installed, however there are
some issues when it is run under IIS on a shared server. There is an article
on the MM site at
http://www.macromedia.com/support/coldfusion/ts/documents/tn18307.htm which
should help your host to set it up.
