macromedia flash flash remoting : What does this mean?

This works:

http://myname.dyndns.org:8500/flashservices/gateway

This does not:

http://myname.dyndns.org/flashservices/gateway

when I go to it straight from the browser. I've been having problems
connecting to a CFC in Flash and having variables passed back from my online
server (on port 80). But when I test my ".SWF" in flash, and do a
remoteGatewayURL of "http://localhost:8500/flashservices/gateway" (CFusion MX
stand-alone server) everything seems to be working EXACTLY as I'd hoped (at
least for testing purposes). I'm trying to make a login in page with Flash MX
(with Remoting Components installed) that talks to my CFusion MX 6.1 server. I
cannot seem to connect REMOTELY!! I've been working on this for a long time
and have yet to come up with anything hard coded!!! BTW, I didn't realize this
Topic Discussion existed (i.e., FORUMS > FLASH REMOTING) so I actually have two
other questions posted in the Flash Integrating discussion. Don't brand me for
cross-posing (or whatever the word is) seeing how they're 3 totally different
questions. :) Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Adam

The answer to my problem had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with my ActionScript. The
answer can be seen at the following thread:
