macromedia flash flash remoting : Flash Com, Building/Editing Components

Hey!

I've just dived into Flash Communication Server MX 1.5. And I have some tasks
in front of me to accomplish.

I need to estimate how long/how difficult these tasks are below. I'm very
comfortable with actionscript, and fairly comfortable with building components.
But have not used components with Flash Com. before.

Can someone give me an idea of any possible barriers to completing the
following things? Basically what I need to know, is if all of these are
accomplish-able, and how time consuming they would be to someone just getting
into Flash Comm.... Thank you VERY MUCH!

- Private message in a chat component
- List of participants in the session with specific icon
(wait/talk/banished/requesting to speak etc). it is clearly that these icons
will have action associates in the application, and a specified(admin) user can
change in real time.
- The control of specified(admin) user to cut the sound and/or video and/or
chat from the specific participant
and other specific functions to make controls in the environment.
- Select SWFs to show in an specific area in the aplication
- Users able to Scale the video of speaker
- Upload files(swf) to use in the session of presentation
- (if possible) Show an URL in the flash environment.

Hello,
I think all the (except maybe the last two items listed) are not only doable,
but there are several examples around. I would search the forums first and see
where they lead you.
I did a few of the items for a project. I won't say it was easy, but I was
able to do it.
FYI, do not mask any components. If you load a swf with components, expect
peculiar behavior. Always allow for the asynchronousness of Flash/Flashcom,
don't expect things to happen immediately in your code....
