macromedia flash flash remoting:
I can not install the component. It was a folder on download. After playing
with root and such on mac it finally turned into an icon application. But never
the less it tries to launch and intall flash remote and cannot. Any solutions?

I have the same problem. I downloaded the installer. Quit everything else. Ran
the updater and it crashed before it could complete. It makes it about %80 of
the way then dies every time. I restarted, repaired permissions and it still
crashes.

Just to add my 2cents.. i have the exact same issue.. its really annoying because i really need to get underway using the componets!! Are MM going to fix this??

This is under 10.3.4 on a G5.

(not Mac related but issue related none the less)

just to add another $0.02, the installer quits on my WIN2K server running
Studio MX2004. It starts to unpackage itself, gets through this stage, but then
the installer never shows up :-(
