macromedia flash flash remoting: Hi

Just want a small poll here.
I want to set up a database drive website made in flash. Except for the
different in languages (PHP / ASP.NET) and the cost for Flash Remoting (999 $)
I want to know which one is faster in delivering data to flash, which one is
easier to develop, which one is the least work, which one is the most
flexible.....

I know the AMFPHP is in beta but I think you guys can already make up a big
difference between the 2.

Just want to explore the several options and other ones opinions before
buying/installing anything.

Hope you experienced guys help me out here.

Thx

Tom

This is related to which technology are you more comfortable, and your current environment. I was using amfphp for little and medium proyects whitout problem. Also I was uing PHp for years.

I prefer amfphp, because it's free and have more comunity support. Speed seems
similar for medium sites, at least based on the two technologies I usually use:
ColdFusion and Remoting. For newbies developpers, CF will be more easy than
others (including .Net and JRun) because the build-in support.
You can check by yourself at least with the two mentioned technologies using
the remoting connector: http://www.flash-db.com/Tutorials/loading/
