macromedia flash flash remoting:
When returning query objects containing fields of the TIMESTAMP datatype (SQL
Server) from a CFC, flash remoting returns the following in the Net Connection
Debugger:

Status (object #2)
.....code: "Client.Data.UnderFlow"
.....description: ""
.....details: ""
.....level: "error"

The solution? Don't include TIMESTAMP fields in the query. I suspect that
all binary types would fail, but I haven't tested them. This took me a long
time to figure out, so I hope posting this here will help others.

Since indeed there isn't a lot of info regarding this, I'll post a little note
here as well.
I had the occurrence of a client.data.underflow in an AMFPHP app which has
always worked fine. I couldn't figure out why it was happening and couldn't
really solve it. I noticed in a shared app that a mySQL record was returning
garbled content and removed it. That solved my Flash problem at the same time.
Can someone at least recommend some good reading?

My two cents.
