macromedia flash flash remoting: Could anybody give me some directions to a website that does a better job of
explaining Flash Remoting than Macromedia does. I just installed it, and I'm
very lost. I downloaded and installed the components but instead of the Flash
Remoting components I keep reading about, all I got was the RemotingConnector
that I don't understand how to use. I know I'm a total beginner at this, but I
wasn't able to find anything that would explain how to use this new version of
Flash Remoting. The old version, I understood at least somewhat. This one has
so many new things in it that I have no clue what to do. Any tutorials or
advice you can give would be great.

Wasn't help available from the top menu ?

Nope. I'm starting to think that I installed it wrong. On my old computer, I
installed it, and I there was documentation available from the help menu in
Flash, but now there isn't. I went back and installed everything again. My
biggest problem, though, is that all of the components are gone. I was using
the old Remoting components (possibly the AS1 components), but they're gone and
I don't understand how to use the RemotingConnector. If anybody can recommend
any good books on it, or anywhere else I can get some help, please do.

your best bet is to look at www.flash-db.com and the tutorials there, they are
great , although there is only one tutorial about the AS2 Connector, you can
easily adapt the other ones to use new AS2 bits
