Can anybody explain how you use the NetConnection Debugger? I can not get it
to do anything either. I know my app is talking to the server b/c I'm getting
to the server and back again to the app but nothing shows up in the Debugger.

have you called the initialise() meethod for NetDebug yet?

the way I have gotten the debugger to work is to open it up outside the Flash
IDE.

On a Mac got to Applications:Macromedia Flash MX 2004:First
Run:WindowSWF:NetConnection Debugger.swf and CTRL+click and choose Open With
SAFlashplayer.
Forgive the following..I work on a Mac and can't remember the Windows path but
go to User/Local Settings/Application Settings(?)/Flash MX 2004/en/First
Run/WindowsSWF/netConnection Debugger.swf and open up in stand alone player.
Once again the Windows path is not exactly right but it is similar to the mac
path.

I use this all the time because that way I can run a remoting app in my
browser and watch the output in teh Debugger at the same time rather than
haveing to switch back and forth between Flash and the browser.

I FINALLY GOT IT TO DO SOMETHING!

Opening it up in the stand-alone player, rather than through Flash
worked for me as well.

for me (WinXP), the path was:
C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Flash MX 2004\en\First

I am having the same problem, it just showed up when I upgraded to the
new Remoting 2.0 components.

When I have NetConnection Debugger running standalone I still don't
get anything in the window. Every now and then though, when I am
browsing the web I will recieve information in the NetConnection
Debugger window for the page I am browsing (when it is a remoting
based page). But none of my stuff is coming through.

I am receiving a response from the server, and everything else is
working fine.
