macromedia flash flash remoting: I am using the XMLCONNECTOR component in flash to bring in data. I can connect
to the data fine with the component but I don?t know how to display the xml
inside a dynamic text field.

Does anyone know how to target the specific parts of the xml loaded in then
display them into text fields.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

follow the steps below:
In component insperctor
In parameters tab,give the location of the xml file.
Next in Schema tab give the location of the same xml file.
Open Bindings tab press on "plus" button, a window will be opened, select
dynamic textbox and corresponding field from xml and then press ok
Below in the bound to field give the name of the dynamic textbox. Before that
you have to set the direction option to "out"
try this, still any problem, write back

Thanks for the help the got me moving in the right direction.

-The first problem is when I do it the way you suggested the xmlConnector
component doesn?t recognize the dynamic text field. I can load the data into
the textArea component just fine.

-The second problem is when I use the Data Connection Wizard the xmlConnector
only brings in some of the xml. I am not able to target the rest of the data.

The xml data I am loading in is online line and not local if that helps. If

working on to view.
