I have just switched from openAMF java to the macromedia version. Unfortunitly
I can not seem to even install the macromedia version. I have copied the
flashgateway.war file into my tomcat webapps directory. After restarting tomcat
i get the below error. I have done a jar -xvf and there is a
META-INF/MANIFEST.MF file. Any ideas. Thanks!

Wich version of tomcat are you using???
I had that problem on version 3 but with newer versions the problem does not
appear, try exporting EAR agin to a different directory when instaloling
remoting or just use the JAR file not the EAR, that hoe we solved the problem,
just use the JAR ant you will have no problem. You will have to register the
JAR as a common servlet on the appropiate XML.

Please feel feee to ask more question I have some experience using REMOTING
AND J2EE

Dear Sir,

I am a beginner in Java and Flash. Could you give me a "hello world" sample
using openAMF from java project into flash presentation? This sample will help
me to start and I'm really appreciate for the help. Please send it to
samuel@britesoftcorp.com. Thank you.

Best Regards,
Samuel Lee
