Hi,

I have a site that uses remoting and it's a pain to develop in the IDE with
one gateway url (a local one) and then publish to the production site (which
needs to use a different url) and always remember to make that change. I can
use an HTML page to view the site and make sure the HTML has the right url in
the flashvars, but that doesn't help in the IDE. Is there a way with the new
remoting components to set a default gateway url in the actionscript that it
can use if the flashvars one is not there? Is there some other way to tell if
the flashvars gateway url is not set?

Take a look at this example I think this will be what you ordered. He sets the
default gateway in the CustomerInfoExampleCon.html file.
