macromedia flash flash remoting: I have created several Flash applications that use Flash remoting, actionscript
1.0. The applications were originally created using Flash MX, and when I
upgraded to MX 2004, I was able to install the 1.0 components for that version
of Flash. I've upgraded to Flash 8, and I only see the ActionScript 2.0
components available to download. An application that I created in MX 2004
using the 2.0 components work in Flash 8, but none of the MX applications do.

I do not have the resources or the interest in recreating my older
applications because they still do what they need to do, but I'd like to make
updates to them using Flash 8. Is there a way to install the 1.0 components in
this version of Flash?

My company is running into this exact same problem (however we are restricted
to F6 because of the client). So, has there been any resolution to this problem?

Can anyone from Macromedia give at least an idea of which direction we should
take to get AS1.0 Remoting components to work with the Flash 8 authoring tool?

to here

C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Flash 8\en\Configuratio

Then I restarted Flash 8 and was able to do my AS 1.0 remoting
