Hi there- I have a class that returns results from a DB with a few html tags
(well a <br />). Now for some reason when in the database it has:

some text<br />
more text<br />
even more

In flash in an html text field, my results show:

some text

more text

even more

If I hard code the same result into a var and asign it, I get the desired:

some text
more text
even more

I even modified the DB to have:

some text<br />more text<br />even more

And I still get the same results.

Am I missing something?

ok - disregard - I figured it out... the issue is that PHP's nl2br (newline to
br) actully ADDS a br before a newline - it does not replace them. So in html
this was fine (as it does not render the newline), but in flash it was messing
it up. Just wrote a custom function, and all is cool now.
