Display data without using DataGrid Component

I want to use ColdFusion with Flash. I have read about Flash Remoting but do
not want to use the DataGrid. I want to query my database and display the
recordset data in Flash. Does anyone have some examples of this? Or tutorials
to get me started?

Hello, can someone please tell me if this is possible:
I want to use flash remoting (AS2) to enable coldfusion database connectivity
that will dynamically populate my .swf with images.
If it is possible, can someone please direct me to where I can learn how to do
this.

Hi guys
I'm trying to convert my Flash Mx 2004 program to Flash 8 Professional. I use the onStatus function in my program to handle server connection problems.
It works fine in Flash Mx 2004 but not in flash 8. Any ideas about this?

Client's machine. I see I can use PHP, but I want to avoid that if possible. Is
there a way I can reference the Client's machine via an IP address?
