I have the same problem - after research have you made sure that the IP address that is used for FMS is also (1) not used by IIS and (2) unbound from IIS

Adjust IIS to use web gardens, at least 5 instances. Also set your tcp time wait delay to 30 seconds as well as tcp sockets to 65534 in the registry.

Hi - I've been working on this and all of the libraries etc. do make FMS work fine (in theory).
The problem we have hit is that on starting the fms server, the memory requirements exceed those of the virtual server that we are trying to run it in, and the process(es) are killed instantly.

Hi,
fmscore.exe seems to have always had this problem. You can minimize the impact of the problem by defining scope in the Application.xml found in your config folder. Change the scope from the default in inst. This will create a new fmscore for each application instance.

Thanks for that, but I was not using an rtmp call to start the instance - I was
hoping that the <loadOnStartup></loadOnStartup> tag in the application.xml file
would be able to start a specific instance, and not the default instance for

Please check out www.minneapolis.edu.. If you have flash 8 player installed it
works just fine. If you dont have it upgraded yet, my slideshow goes crazy fast
