Hi all,

I'm programing a video publishing/playing application.
In the playing application I would like to display the date when the flv-file
was recorded.
Is there any way to retrieve this information form the filesystem with fcs?
Since the file system has stored this information anyway, I don't feel like
adding the date to a sharedObject or so.

If you have web-server installed you can retrieve this information with
Macromedia flash remoting. Scripts at web-server side can get this data
from filesystem

You can also use getNetStreamStats function to get some statistics, but
admin access needed for it

But my opinion, storing this info at SO is much more simplier
