macromedia flash flashcom: :confused;
Hi, i'm Shalom from israel, i have some problem that i can't find the answer
on the web.. my question is: how can i send some variable from flash to an asp
page...
i want to use a falsh form (becuase all the effects i can do there) but to do
the actual search from an asp page and show the resulte in a HTML / Same page..
i hope someone understud my question and will be able to help me.. thanks from

That is extremely easy and your topic is in the wrong place. All u do is make
the search feild have an instance name of wutever, then when they hit a button
to search use the url code and make the variable inside of the url.

Isn't the that process oxposing and creating security issues, I have been
searching for that answer myself for some time now, and want to pass variables
to Coldfusion, Is there any turtorial that you could help me with or direct me
to a step by step way of either sending the variables to Coldfusion or to send
the variables directly to the server, and then also capable of making other
selections on the webpage that would allow the index.cfm with drop down box
Categories from the database along with the Flash image sending some variables
to the server and then once cliking Get Results on demand the info would appear
on the page.
