i have recently installed the flash communication server on a box running
win2003 server. ive tried (3) browsers and they all have the same problem. it
appears that admin.swf, isnt adding a file:/// prefic to the unc, causing the
browser to recognize c as a protocol rather than part of the path. has anyone
had a similar problem? Also, will adding a path manually to the vhost.xml file
allow the application to function without further configuration until i can
solve the administration problem?

I am sure the problem is more of Windows and not Flashcom. Miscrosoft with its
security patch somehow dis-allowed c:/protocol which I think was allowed
initially. So, modify your html wrapper in the Flashcom installation, It is the
SWF that works and not the file/url html link anyway.
