macromedia flash flashcom : Problems when recording a live Stream

Hi,

We are having problems when recording a live Stream and there are users that
are "remote disconnected" from FCS. I?ll try to explain myself.

We have a presentation room type application (1 to N) that allows one person
broadcast live video and audio, and, at the same time, record the stream for a
media library application. The problem is that we are receiving an error
message on the live log of the admin SWF that says: "Failed to record
presroom/streams/_definst_/presentacion, no space left on device". And the
stream stops been recorded, but continue to be published. At a first look we
thought that we didn?t have free space on the HD, but this was not true. Sounds
like that the error message does not reflect the real reason.

After some tests we discovered that the error happened every time one user is
"disconnect by force" from any app on FCS and that users only have connection
problems when they are behind our Proxy server (ISA Server). The "forced
disconnection" occurs after 5 min (more or less) and does not appear on Live
Log messages. Our network technicians say they are not filtering any packets on
1935 (rtmp) port.

Has anyone heard or had similar problem?

We are running FCS version 1.5.2 r138 under Red Hat 8.

Many thanks,

I found that the problem might be caused by RTMPT HTTP 1.0 connections that are
sent to the FCS.

That opens too many socket connections and the server can?t handle all of
then. The client is disconnected and the Stream, which is been recorded,
crashes, but continues to be broadcasted.

Now the question is: How can I prevent FCS from receiving RTMPT HTTP 1.0
connections while letting RTMPT HTTP 1.1 (keep alive) connect?

Thanks
