I have been testing a new chat app for our company and while it tests just fine
within our network, when we test it from outside our network, the flash doesn't
even appear in the webpage. Is there some security setting I need to adjust?

What are your fire wall settings? if port 1935 is blocked that is your
problem, as that is the port flashcom uses.

I ran into this as well. I would bet you are using IIS and FCS on the same
server and you are using a firewall to block all ports except 80...et.al.

Try this:

That should set you right, if you want to use tunneling that is. Performance
will take a hit but security is well worth it...at least for me.
