macromedia flash flashcom : Record audio to MP3 using Flash Comm

I want to create a website where user goes and click record, talk on their
microphone, and I get back an MP3 on my Flash Comm Server. Is that possible?
My understanding is that I can get back a FLV. Can I get an MP3 instead? If
not, is there any tools out there that converts FLV to MP3?

I believe Sorensen Squeeze can do it.
