macromedia flash flashcom: am i wrong to assume that:

i can utilise comm server without fcs components (excluding embedded video,
which obviously is called for - for streaming live chats anyway); and that
i can use AS2.0 in external class files instead of writing garbage on the main
timeline like a five year old
