macromedia flash flashcom: Hi

Have just bought flash comm server mx & am not sure what to do next. I have managed to install the CD & have not touched it, any adivce will be great

Well start it up and see its admin window. I believe the tools folder if =
not already on your menu.

Then install a web cam, try the demos that come with it and examples in =
Flash help (MX 2004) and of course smile when you see yourself.

I found Programming Flash Communications Server By Brian Lesser et al =
helpful for more depth but does offer some to the newcomer.

I like the Lesser book as well. It is to FlashCom what Moock's book is to AS.
However, when I was starting out I got Robert Reinhardt's Building Rich
Internet Applications. It had simple examples. I used these and the examples
that ship with the app. The documentation included in the app was also
extremely helpful.

Beyond that I have let my clients push me to new heights with FlashCom. They
always are making me learn new things.
