FMS 2.01/Linux - where did the profiles go?

So we're trying to set up FMS on a Linux box, and this whole profile thing has
been a huge pain.
First, the documentation doesn't explain how to switch from 100
users/unlimited to 2500 users/25Mbps. After a week, we *finally* find the
release notes page explaining about the profiles exist... more >>

I've got a .fla wich works perfectly however if i attempt to copy and paste the
exact code and stage objects into a fresh .fla it doesn't work at all.....am i
hallucinating or is this a known flash issue?I'm losing my mind ...i should
have stuck to php but now i'm hooked on flash...well anyway... more >>

Recording on server side

I'm having problems related to recording stream on server side. Using
Stream.get("abc") to get the stream and Stream.record() to start recording and
Stream.record(false) to stop recording on main.asc file. After the entire

Any ideas why I WOULD be able to remotely connect to and login to FMS2 using
the Management Console but NOT be able to ping the server, restart the server
or view any server stats? I always get "Failure attempting to ping Test Server"
or "Error requesting stats from the server Test Server". I ... more >>

Hi I am currently running Flash Media Server 2 running on a Windows 2003 SE
server. According to the admin console Manage Servers > License > Professional
Edition Licenses window I am running with a license set for 100 concurrent
users unlimited bandwidth.

We've just installed Flash Media Server, and we're trying to get a Flash 8
movie to get a stream of it.

I have downloaded Flash Media Server 2 and installed it but I have no way to
tell if its working and I have no way to get started. I downloaded the samples
and tutorials from this website and installed them correctly in the application

Hello buddies,
In a rather heavy media communication app (with about 500 concurrent users),
is it better to use more than one NetConnection for in/out Streams or it
doesn't really make any difference?
