macromedia flash flashcom : FLVPlayback: no controls in browser

I'm using Flash Media Server to stream video to an SWF client on our web server
and it's almost working. When I open an html page with the swf embedded in it,
the video plays fine, but there are no controls (play, pause, fast forward,
etc).

I used the FLVPlayback component, and when I do a "Test Movie" from within
flash, the video plays with the controls right under it. The problem is just
when I load the SWF or HTML in a browser.

Here's a question: Did you remember to put the swf file containing the media
controls into the same directory that you put the main SWF file?

If you used one of the premade skins from Flash, a separate SWF file is
generated that inculdes the video controls. For the controls to show up in the
Flash movie containing the embedded video on your Web page, that second SWF
file containing the controls only needs to be put in the same directory as the
SWF file containing the video. (Or, I think you can specify a different
directory, but you would need to put that path in the appropriate variable for
the FLVPlayback object.; you can do this using actionscript or using the
component inspector for the specific FLVPlayback object..)

Anyway, it sounds like that may be what your problem is.
