Hello there...
Thanks for taking a look at this posting.

Here's what I want to know...

Is this possible?
I'm trying to make a multiplayer bomberman game with Flash MX 2004 Pro. My
goal is to upload the .swf file to my free www.freewebs.com account and to have
the file communicate with Flash Media Server on my computer. I'm running a
Windows XP Home Edition with a semi-fast internet connection.

Hi, yes it is possible.
You you should have a static IP at home.( for example: 212.10.11.1 )
and the connection string in the swf file on your web server :
my_nc.connect("rtmp://212.10.11.1/yourappfolder")

Thank you for your help!

I still don't know what to do however... Does anyone know of a link to a
tutorial on setting up one of these things? And possibly some links on how to
use them? :P

I've been told that for a game like bomberman an XML socket server is the way
to go... I downloaded an XML socket server application onto my desktop
computer the other day (I think it's called ElectroServer 3) and I dont know
much about how to use it... I also dont know what to put for the Port option.
(like... which XML port to use...)

Can anyone post a link to a good page to get me started on learning how to
make this muliplayer game work? Any information that anyone has about this type
of thing in general would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all for taking the
time to help me out!
