I installed FMS 2.01 on a Win 2000 server. There is no web server on that box.
My web server is on a separate machine. Do the examples and tutorials that
come with FMS expect you to have FMS installed on the same machine as your web
server?

I can get the multiplayer game described at
http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/flashcom/articles/minesweeper.html
to work fine with the code on separate machines, but none of the sample apps
seem to work.

FMS does not need to be on the same box as your http server.
