macromedia flash flashcom: Hi. Am having problems with onMetaData. Am running FMS 2.01 developer edition
for evaluation on my local winxp machine. I'm using onMetaData to detect the
width and height of an FLV stream, but sometimes onMetaData fails to kick in.

Any clues as to what is going on?

When does onMetaData exactly trigger?

Any suggestions on how to fix my onMetaData problem?

Is the stream live or recorded? If it's recorded, how are you recording it?

Some flv conversion software injects proper metadata, and some doesn't (Like
sorenson... they never got it right). If the metadata wasn't injected into the
flv file, there's nothing for your onMetaData event to respond to.

The onMetaData event is triggered every time metaData is encountered in the
..flv file.
