as i have read so far, this won't work, as flash 8 would produce FLV files,
where mobile devices uses real player, mp4, or 3gp formats. Nevertheless, i
heared that some ipods and mobile phones are including the flash player in
them. is this going to be the milestone for FLVs?

So you know, there are no Macromedia guys... there are only Adobe guys, and I
wouldn't expect answers from any of them here. This is a user to user forum.

I don't work with mobile devices much, but Flash Lite supports the Flash 7
standard , so I would imagine the netconnection and video classes are in there.
If that's the case, then you should be able to deliver Sorenson Spark encoded
flv files (the flash 6/7 standard).
