macromedia flash flashcom: i have a question for long~~Does FCS use on2vp6 codec to publish flv in Flash8?
Is it the default video codec for publishing flv in flash8? (I mean ,in
camera capture and live publish-record process?NOT in the video import
condition)
Some one say "yes" to me ,but,if it is the default way,
why i can successfully play the flv file (published by fcs in flash8) via
flash player 7.0 (both of the video and the audio)
so can anyone tell me why it happens like that and thanks A lot~

ps:i use flash pro 7 ide and "ctrl +enter" to play this flv file,also
trace(getVersion()),it shows "WIN 7,0,14,0"

Sorenson Spark for the video, and a Nellymoser codec (I believe it's named
Asao) for the audio. That's the Flash 6 standard, so you'll be able to see your
FMS streams in some builds of Flashplayer 6 as well as 7.

So you know, it's the Flashplayer that does the encoding, not FMS.

:cool;To JayCharles:
thanks for your help,now i understand that Flashplayer does the encoding,
so u mean the FLV published by FP8 is just the same as the one published by
FP7,
all of them are based on Flash 6 standard,right?
