How to stream video from FCS/FMS on Flex 2.0?

Has anyone figured out how to stream video from FCS/FMS on [b]FLEX 2.0[/b]?
I've been working with all the sample code I can find, especially the
[b]FLEX 2.0[/b] samples found in the Adobe documentation, but I'm having a
heck of
a time getting any of them work.

Over the last few years we have developed a Flash based videoconferencing tool
which uses the flashmedia server. Recently clients using this have complained
of problems with audio, and this would appear to be specifically related to
people who have installed the Flash 9 player.

Hi ALL
Its very simple!! Please let me explain it in very less but clear words.
There is one webpage which contains 10 swf files (apparently these are
buttons to play or stop sounds.)

Is there a way to point the FMS Application to load streams from a different
directory than the one under the application.
for example
FMS app is at
c:\FMSApplications\App1\Streams\EnglishStreams
i want App1 to load it's streams from a network share
\\netShare\Streams\EnglishStreams

Hello,
I installed FMS Developer editioni onto my server. The server is not live to
the world yet, but according to the manuals that shouldnt matter, FMS still
should work with the server. So, when I go to play a video through my new site,

I had to correct the date and time on my windows machine and got this meddage
from the system:
FMS has detected system time is going backwards; shutting down server.
Even a reinstall didnt work, anyone any suggestion how to solve this problem?

I'm calculating cost of servers for the organization online video service. And
I cannot understand is there difference in recommended configuration between
Origin and Edge servers. I mean can I take a fast Origin server and slow Edge?

IIS and FMS conflict

I'm having trouble with IIS and FMS conflicting when my server starts up. It
appears that FMS starts up before IIS does and engages all available IPs,
blocking IIS from starting the websites I have hosted on the server.
My adaptor.xml file contains:
