macromedia flash flashcom:
Hello,
I am suggested a project to broadcast high quality live video/audio to one or
more clients. The two key features of this system is:
1. Video is captured thru advanced high-quality cameras connected to capture
card (not USB)
2. Video/Audio should be delivered in very low latency (under 3 seconds)

Now I have two questions:
1. Is Flash player capable of identifying Cameras connected to capture card
and not USB ports? Or perhaps can some advanced camera be suggested that uses
USB port and provides same advanced recording features as professional cameras?
2. I am a little doubtfull about Media Server Audio/Video delays, Is Media
server a reliable choice for boroadcasting LOW-LATENCY live Audio/Video ? in my
case under 3 seconds.

Thank you for any note and help

1. From my knowledge, Flash player also support Cameras connected to Capture
card, You just need to check Flash Player compabitility matrix somewhere in
their site.

2. Depends on what geographical locations you want to broadcast it. If your
Media server is in US and you want people in Europe to watch it, then you might
need something different than FMS alone, something linke origin-edge server.
