macromedia flash flashcom: Hi -

I am using the videoPlayback component to progressively download FLVs. It
worked great in Flash 8, and not at all with my new Flash 9 player.

To make matters worse, it works on Flash 9 in Firefox but not in IE.

I haven't seen other complaints like this. Anyone have a suggestion?

I would think that would be the case, except it doesn't work for my
coworker either, and we're a virtual company so it's not like we are
using the same networx or anything. I get the box around the video
player with the IE "Click to activate this component" message but it's
completely blank inside. I realize this makes no sense but I'm
watching it perfectly on my laptop w/ Flash 8 next to my
non-functioning desktop w/ Flash 9.

I'll try to download again just in case.

Sorry, I misread this.

As noted in my post, it does work on Firefox w/ Flash 9 for me as well.
Do you happen to test using IE on the Windows machine? That's where
the problem lies.
