Hello,
I have a simple Webcam movie, publishing a live-video
to an FMS 2.0.2 r51 dev. edition running on Debian 3.1r2
and then playing it back in another video-window.
It works fine with rtmp and rtmpt, but with rtmps I get

Flash Media Server 2 provides an XMLSocket class. The XMLSocket.send() method
does not immediately send the data passed to it. Is there any way to flush an
XMLSocket and force it to send the data that it has?

Hi,
I am trying to use FLASH Comm Server 1.5 on 2 servers in a cluster.
The two servers ar not synchornized, and depending on which one you get
assigned to, the shared object states are different.

Memory Consumption on playing live streams

The problem that we encountered is that when we play live streams from flash
media server , the flash player process in task manager start getting bigger ..
so after 1/2 h .. it already reaches 2GB memory ... thats kind of frustrating.

I encountered this dimishing bandwidth problem in my Flash Media Server 2.02.
I am using the Bandwidth Checker at http://www.flashcomguru.com/apps/bwcheck/
to measure the bandwidth to my FMS.
When the system is rebooted, the bandwidth is:
Upstream: 3164 Kbits/sec

:confused; We have just installed Flash Media Server 2 on a server here at
ISU. I have access to the Macromedia/Flash directory and can place .asc files
with in the applications folder with in this directory. I can access the
