macromedia flash flashcom : FMS Binding to Wrong IP Address

I have FMS installed on a machine with two IP addresses on the same network
card. I've configured the adaptor.xml file to bind to a particular IP which
worked fine for a while. It then suddenly decided to bind to the other IP
address and I cannot get to bind to the first IP address.

Has anyone ever seen this behavior or have an idea how I can fix this? I can
even see it binding to the proper IP in the logs but the code has to point to
the wrong IP for any Flash to work.

Ah... that is suspect. Something else must have triggered this behavior, but
what could that be? A reboot?

(on windows) "netstat -ano | find "LIST" will show you what IP FMS binds to:
make sure this corresponds to what you see in the logs. If they match, it may
be a routing issue, you may have to play with your route table to get traffic
directed in the fashion you want. "route print" will get you started. Typical
symptoms of a routing issue is that traffic is directed to the first ip found
in the route table. Another thing to look at is how clients connect, be sure
that the name resolution is to the ip address you want.

Good luck.
