I have developed a Flash chat for a client using FMS2. The application is used
by goups of 5-15 people, who will use it for up to 2 or 3 hours in one session,
sometimes even longer.

Hi,
I am new to Flash Media Server. I have installed FMS 2 on Windows 2003 Server,
I have loaded the .flv file in applications directory and created the instance
on FMS managment console. The .swf file is in the Web Server (IIS 6.0) root

Hi all,
We are using FCS v2. We have been successfully writing log files and recording
streams to both local disk and filesystems from networked devices (SMB mounted
shares, NFS shares etc) for years. But since setting up FCS on server 2003, we

This seems to be a major issue with FCS that hasn't really been fixed or solved
by the programming community.
When you are streaming to the FCS server and the connection is lost (internet
connection lost, cable unplugged, wireless network closed, etc..) The FCS will
not close a null stream... more >>

We are interested in streaming flash like a tv station on our website.
We have a 35 minute loop that we would like to set up as streaming on our
homepage, so a visitor will hit whatever random part of the loop is playing
when they log onto the site, much as a tv channel surfer switches into ... more >>

Hi,
I need a setup to stream movies. This setup must have redundancy. What I am
looking to do is setup 2 FMS Origin servers and 2 Edge server. I want to
replicate the Origin servers with each other so that they are always mirrored
for the movies.

Hello,
I got a chat application and I'd like to be able to disconnect a user from a
specific stream without disconnect the whole client connection. I don't want
this to happen from the client Flash application as it's easily hackable and
would like to be able to control this on the server.... more >>

I would like to install an outdoor camera which has its own built-in server;
