Simple question really, since the fms_console.swf page is not the most effective way to manage multiple FMS servers. Is there a MIB or other way to monitor FMS2 via SNMP, or does it have any remote monitoring facilities other than the SWF? ...more >>

its asking for this info on installation... somebody should be able to answer this - you've all had to enter a valid user group for your FMS service user upon install...more >>

when I begin the install on my linux server... I get past the point where I enter the admin name and password.. then it ask me to give an alternate user ID (default is nobody) ... after doing so - the install script ask me for a valid user group for the user.. On Machine A: I have Apache and Flash Media Server 2 Developer Ed. When I test my app ( called testApp1 ) everything works fine. But, when I test it on Machine B over the LAN, it hangs for a long time, I get, NetConnection.Connect.Failed and then the browser crashes. Very annoying. Any ide...more >>

Hi. I'm relatively new to FLV and streaming but I'm coming up to speed quickly (I think). I have a Flash app with two buttons. Some of my users complains that while viewing the live streaming of my application, the audio quality deteroriates over time.
