macromedia flash handhelds: I am researching a Location Based Services project for mobile phone and am
exploring the possibility of using Flash instead of J2ME. However, J2ME can get
the location information of the phone via its
http://developers.sun.com/techtopics/mobility/apis/articles/location/ . Can
Flash lite for mobile phones access this location from the J2ME API or by some
other method. LBS is one of the advertised uses of Flash Lite, but I cannot
find any information on linking the phone's location into Flash Lite -- which
is essential for LBS. Any information would be appreciated as this could be a
good showcase for Flash Lite on Mobile phones. Thanks.

Flash Lite would need to obtain the J2ME API information through a J2ME
application running on the phone. The player doesn't have a way to
request data from the API directly.
