Hi-

This seems like a pretty obvious question, but here's my situation: I have two independent Flash 5 movies in separate frames in an html frameset. When I click on a button in movie1 in menuFrame, how do I get that aciton to cause movie2 in mainFrame to goto and play frame 5?

I've seen more recent posts for how to deal with this seemingly uncomplicated issue in MX, but how does one do it in Flash 5? Can I use ActionScript to do this? Or do I have to go through browser JavaScirpt to do what I want?

any advice would be appreciated

thanks
-j

so you must send some stuff across frames, it's possible via javascript set
action to flash movie, and, send stuff across frames

Did you get this to work yet? did you end up using a java script and if so, where can I get it?

I am trying to do the same thing, but I'm using MX. Do you know how to do this in MX? where are the posts you were talking about with how to deal with this in MX? Thanks.
