macromedia flash sitedesign : tracing photos - file size?

this kinda depends on what kind of images they are - if they have large
single colour areas you *may* get a reuction in file size - if it's complex
the file will probably end up even larger, especially with the settings you
have given. Setting Minimum Area and Curve Fit to pixels will result in a
very deatailed (read HEAVY) vector.

The way to compare is to turn on 'Publish Size Report' in the publish
settings - this gives details of the weight of each symbol and frame.

I am wanting to reduce the file size of a few photos in my Flash file, and
tracing shold do this, as i understand. I intend using the settings:

Color Threshold: 10

Minimum Area: 1 pixel

Curve Fit: Pixels

Corner Threshold: Many Corners

Is there somewhere in Flash that reports the file sizes of the various
images, or movie clips so I can compare?

Thanks
Geoff
