Flash site appears different in Mac and Windows mozart2006

macromedia flash sitedesign: I used flash mx 2004 to create http://cyberbeehive.com/flash.html and after uploading, seeing it work perfectly on my mac as well as certain windows pcs i tested it on, i assumed it worked fine period. the design uses a viewer window that expands and reveals content placed on panes that slide into place and reveal more info accordingly. naturally, the panes are larger than the visible viewer window.

but i was shocked after i showed it to someone on their windows pc and the entire sliding panes were in FULL VIEW! i.e. not blocked out except the area visible within the viewer window.

can anyone comment on this? is there some bug that makes the flash movie play different in mac and windows environments? is there something i overlooked in the programming? i am still pretty fresh to actionscript...

never mind i solved the problem using masks. it appears that a mac will automatically mask display windows, while windows won't. so i was dumb not to do quality control before launch...
